Our client is a supplier of quality seed sector is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced warehouse manager with minimum of 4years’ in similar role. The position will be accountable for ensuring that all stock is accurately and properly received, recorded, stored, maintained and dispatched, while assuring seed quality; that sundry stocks are managed appropriately; and that labour, machinery, buildings, QA systems, inventory management systems, security, health, safety and work flow is managed, organized, efficient and effective. Receiving seed and production inputs. Arrange for proper and effective storage for received seed and inputs. Ensuring proper inventory management system in the warehouses. Arrange for proper and effective storage of conditioned seed. Ensuring all seed received, conditioned, stored and dispatched is properly labelled and recorded. Ensuring periodic fumigation of seed in warehouses, and maintaining fumigation records. Dispatching seed for sale, and maintaining records of dispatch. Issuing production inputs. Safeguards warehouse operations, contents and consumables by establishing and monitoring safety and security procedures and protocols. Completes warehouse operational requirements by recruiting, scheduling and assigning employees; ensuring operational efficiency and following up on work results.  Contributes to general team efforts through good communication and participation in accomplishing related work results as needed. Experience in supervising labour and knowledge of labour laws. Experience in warehouse supervision, inventory control, reporting skills, managing processes, safety and security management. Clean Class 4 driver’s license. Computer experience (excel and word).
