(Motor / Automotive Industry, Harare) – Our client in the automotive/ motor Industry is looking for Parts Controller to join their dynamic team. The successful incumbent must ensure profitability and efficiency of the department. To Manage stock levels and ensure that parts are readily available. Compile weekly stock orders. Parts identification using EPC and other toyota parts catalogues. Liaise with service providers to ensure that the best possible price is obtained for stocks. GRV all incoming orders and ensuring that service provider invoices are in compliance with ZIMRA regulations. Liaise and consult with the Service Advisors and Workshop Controller in identifying urgent parts to be ordered. Notify appropriate parties when special-order parts arrive. Maintain an up-to-date parts price list. Compile stock control reports, to determine stock supply and need for replenishment. Oversee and return parts as needed and remove from inventory as required. Match purchase orders and invoices, approves, and forwards to accounting office. Assists in preparing for and performing annual parts stock take as directed by management. Ensure that Parts Department and Stores are maintained in accordance with KODAWARI set standards. Keeps parts area clean and uncluttered. A strong knowledge of automotive parts is required and bearing in mind this is a predominantly male working environment and must be available to start immediately. Remuneration is negotiable.
