Our client is an international company expanding their team within Zimbabwe looking for IT Systems Testers (Technical Tester) with at least 2years experience in similar role. The candidate must have meticulousness attention to detail in test case design, execution and defect reporting. Excellent analytical thinking and problem solving. Exceptional communicational and collaboration skills. As well as proactive mindset, able to identify risks and take appropriate actions. Systems Testers are responsible for the quality of software development and deployment. They are involved in performing automated and manual tests to ensure the software created by developers is fit for purpose. The duties include analysis of software and systems, mitigating risk and prevention of software issues. As a results-driven Systems Tester, you are responsible for designing and running tests on software usability. You also conduct tests, analyse the results, and report observations to the design team. You may also interact with clients in order to understand the requirements of the product.

 

 

Accountability and Main Responsibilities: Participate in design reviews and provide input on requirements, product design, and potential problems. Review software requirements and prepare test scenarios and execute tests. Complete full regression testing and risk based testing on major releases to the customer. Ensure the Customer is aware of Non Core Features they need to Test. Work with the Implementation and Support team to identify defects. Demo enhancements to the wider team and the customer. Collaborate with the customer to help them with shared testing. Update and maintained documentation. Prepare reports on all aspects related to the software testing carried out. Identify gaps or make suggestions for improvements (process, script, streamlining, other tools etc.).Educational Degree: Preferred Bachelor’s in IT, Preferred Requirements: ISTQB Certificate, knowledge of SQL, Postman, HTML, API Testing.
