(Plastic Manufacturing Industry, Harare) – Our client specialise in the design and manufacture of environmentally responsible rigid plastic packaging for food, beverage and industrial is looking for Machine Operator with at least 2years experience in plastics manufacturing or bottling industry essential. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the technician to effectively set up machines thereby ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and that we produce a top quality product, cost effectively towards the ultimate satisfaction of our customers’ requirements. Reviewing previous days production run by clarifying cause(s) of problems, where relevant and communicating problems and plans to relevant parties. Changing moulds. Planned daily actions and organized resources. Ensuring smooth production run. Attending to call outs. Ensuring high quality product standards. Rapid quality problem solving ensuring that all defective stock is immediately isolated. 100% adherence to ISO Quality System as measured by job schedules, hourly operator checklist, setters’ setting cards, packing configurations, components drawings and description labels. Zero customer returns as per GRV slips. Completion of all relevant CBT modules. Ensuring a safe working environment by adhering to safety procedures. Report all unsafe conditions to Safety rep or supervisor immediately. Ensure proper housekeeping. Always wearing personal protective equipment as specified by the company. Mechanical aptitude. Knowledge of ISO quality system. Attention to detail, Motivated, Self –Discipline and Customer Focused. Team player, Planning and Organisational Skills.
