(Job location: Harare) – A well established Agricultural entity is looking for an Farm operations manager  to join their team. The position comes with lots of travel between the farms so must be flexible with movement between farms. The successful applicant will have minimum of 10 years’ experience managing a large operation and being fully responsible for a business unit or entity, including the supervision and management of large teams on multiple farms. Substantial agricultural experience, including but not limited to leadership "hands on" experience in farm operations (preferably row crops and horticulture) • Ability to effectively and efficiently establish new farms. Responsibilities include: Provide Leadership, oversee and manage performance of Company farms • Deliver targeted crop yields and quality. Work closely with the Farm Managers to ensure that all management and production plans are implemented effectively and profitably. Participates in annual budget process. Ensure budget adherence across the operations. Strong planning and organisational and time management skills. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills. The ability to make decisions in stressful environments. Excellent written, verbal, and oral presentation skills.
